Spider (briefly called Spider Boy at one point) is a gigantic arachnid who can emit insect-like squeaks, and groans. Similarly to most spiders, he is capable of leaving large webs and shooting. However, unlike most insects, he can skillfully play the piano and strangely weave arrows.

Design[]

The Spider is a crudely drawn spider with seven legs, a circle-shaped head, gray skin, two sets of eyes and a mouth with two sets of teeth. Despite being a Spider, the Spider displays two human-like features by having small pieces of hair and ears.

Relationships[]

Alliances & Friendships[]

While the Spider is unable to speak and naturally express his feelings, the creature has taken a liking to Roostre, listening to his stories and following throughout the Cardboard City to a desert cave. Eventually, in "Farewell", the Spider is revealed to be the hidden identity of CJ Muff, who floats out of the character's body, now being a blue-colored orb. This fact explains the reason why the Spider was so "attached" to Roostre. In the "Invictus" special, Spider is shown working with the Shark and Rectangular Businessman.

Enemies[]

Most of Spider's enemies are unknown. Although the Spider had to kill the Producer Man to get the Hand out of his brain. In the "Invictus" special, when Fitz encountered Spider in his bedroom, a bee exterminator named Buzby was hired by Fitz to hunt down the Spider. Buzby chased him out of the house with a chain gun, trying kill the Spider. In the third season, Roostre was cocooned in a web by Spider in the World of Muck.

Powers and Abilities[]

In the "Invictus" special, Spider is shown to have a ability to teleport. When Spider came out of Fitz's current house by breaking out of the window, he was able to teleport outside by opening his mouth. Spider presumably teleported back into Q109 after this.

Trivia[]

  • In the episode "Bowtime", Mouse's daughter is shown morphing into a giant Spider. While the Spider form of Fitz's daughter has the same appearance as this Spider. It's unknown if this is the same Spider or not. She most likely morphed into a Spider due to the effects of arachno-xenomorphentation, a term mentioned in the "Corndog Chronicles."
