Golden Joe is a loud-mouthed, close friend of Mouse Fitzgerald. He is a rapper who is capable of teleportation, allowing him to teleport from place to place. His voice is distorted by a reverb effect and constantly shouts instead of speaking more softly. He often irritates people around him, Roostre in particular, due to his use of long and verbose sentences. Golden Joe is a somewhat well-known rapper, as Rhoda recognized him and couldn't believe the latter was in his bar. As a songwriter, Joe places a lot of importance on his ability to rhyme. It is unknown where Golden Joe's ability of transportation originates. Shark regards him to be "all disappeary and shit" because of this power.

Design[]

Golden Joe is a green orb-like being with lime green mouse-like ears on his head and a golden tooth in his mouth. A dollar sign marked in white even appears on his golden tooth.

Relationships[]

Alliances & Friendships[]

Golden Joe's main alliances are usually Mouse Fitzgerald, Roostre, and Peanut Cop, who is technically his best friend. Joe and Peanut will often hang out together, as they're both into drinking alcohol and beer. They spent the first half of Season 3 inside a jail cell room full of doors in an underwater Prison before escaping. When Peanut Cop died after stepping on a nuclear bomb in "Here We Come", Joe cried in horror.

Golden Joe shares a romantic relationship with his hip hop D.J. collaborator Kiki. When Joe was abducted in "First 12", Kiki set out to find Golden Joe's whereabouts in the third season. They were eventually reunited with each other in "Final Beginning".

Rhoda seems to be a very big fan of Golden Joe.

Enemies[]

Golden Joe is shown to be very afraid of Shark. In the fourth episode of Season 1, "Spider", Golden Joe teleports into Rhoda's Bar, but promptly leaves after seeing Shark inside the bar. In the tenth episode of Season 2, "Eighteen", Golden Joe was later captured by Shark, alongside with The Eye and New Guy. In "Farewell", after Joe was saved by Fitz, Skillet and the Cyber Green-Sweatered Woman from Shark, Joe reveals to Fitz that he forgot to teleport away as he was "too" afraid of Shark. Aside from Shark, he does have a dislike towards other antagonists such as the Rectangular Businessman and the Clock.
